Eye witnesses claims that unknown gunmen have killed nine health workers in Unguwa
Uku area of Kano metropolis, while they were carrying out polio
immunization in the city. The gunmen opened fire on these women while on a tricycle. These victims are identified as immunization staff and its believed that they go from house to house for immunization exercise.
This is the first time gunmen will be using tricycles to stage such
attacks since the state government banned the use of commercial
motorcycles in the commercial city after a recent attack on the Emir of Kano by gunmen.. Its only God that can protect us in this country..
