Onyekachi Ekwelum has
been charged before the magistrate in court because he sold out his
six-month-old son in other to raise funds to settle his travelling particulars
The alleged father executed this gruesome act without the
consent of his 20-year-old spouse, Ozioma. Hence the wife grew angry and
reported the issue to the police when she could not find her son. It was
further discovered that her husband was planning to abandon her, while he leaves
the shores of Nigeria to Greece.
Fortunately, some policemen were able to do a thorough
investigation and this led to the rescue of the innocent baby. The suspects
were all arrested. Too bad the wife, Ozioma is still in shock over her husband
heartless action.
